Going green is not new to Denver. Now, however, the city has taken the initiative to push aside the barriers of education, workforce and financing, allowing anyone to be environmentally conscience. At the forefront of this push for environmental awareness is the Denver Energy Challenge (DEC), which since 2010 has provided free advising to residents and business owners interested in making their homes and businesses more sustainable and energy efficient.
